Since that time I broke a filling and am in need a crown. I decided to wait until my next cleaning and bring up the difference in color before I invested more money and time with him after being disappointed with his other work. When I did, he said that he used the whitest he had without going into "bleaching colors". Bleaching colors? If you could use a whiter color that matched, why wouldn't you? Why would he put a mismatched color on my front teeth in the first place and expect me to be happy with it? His comment was, "This is why I hate doing bonding on front teeth". He didn't offer to fix it and stand by his work. It was good enough for him and I was a pain for bringing the subject up. I was so sad and disappointed. When the Dental Hygienist asked me when I wanted my next appointment, I sadly told her, I wouldn't be making anymore with Dr. Dimke and to also cancel my Son's appointment in May. She knew. She also saw the difference. I've never had this problem in all the years I've done bonding.
I wrote to them, and never received a response. I think others should know.
I guess my only option is to ask for a refund for the bonding work he did, so I can have it done somewhere else properly. I really hope you at least do that, but maybe you just don't care and your practice has become too big to care about the little things like patient satisfaction and quality. I've worked in the medical field for many years, I see it all the time. . We may be only two patients you've lost, but instead of putting my tail between my legs and slinking away, I thought you should know.
Have had terrific treatment for entire family of five since moving to Riverside Dental. Dr. Dimke was aware that two members have a difficult time with the dentist but he and his hygienists have been very patient and calming towards them (no small feat, I promise!) and there are no longer complaints prior to cleaning visits. Have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for our appointments and sometimes we have even been taken back early! When I had a dental emergency, Dr. Dimke was not available but I was promptly placed with Dr. Tartaglia who also was very personable and helpful. Love it when Otis (therapy dog) visits and looking forward to meeting Sully, his little brother on my next visit!
I contacted Riverside Dental Center 2 months ago for my 28 year old son. He's had bad teeth for quite a while and hasn't smiled in pictures for a long time. He does not like getting dental work done but has been in a lot of pain. and is totally embaressed by his teeth. Riverside Dental Center gave us a very fair price to fix his teeth and he and I are both very impressed with the job they have done. They have went above and beyond what was promised. Like I said, for cleanings they are great... just don't get your fillings done here!
I don't have dental insurance. I pay for all of my dental out of pocket for myself. I don't make a huge salary, so it's something I have to save for. My teeth are important to me. Especially, my front teeth. If he couldn't match them, or couldn't do it the right way, or just "hated doing bonding" then why didn't he tell me before the procedure? Are there different bonding material companies and some have a whiter white? Why wouldn't he use the bleaching colors to start with? Your smile is so important. It may be not "that" noticeable, but I see it everyday and I cringe.

For cleanings, they are great... for fillings... just don't go there. I had several fillings done there and now, 2 years later, my teeth have cavaties and decay under the fillings they put in. Sometimes fillings wear out after 10 - 20 years but not 2 years later!
Also, my teeth were so sensitive to extreme cold and hot for at least a year and a half after I had fillings done - made me want not want to go back to the dentist ever again.
I was recommended to your practice and Dr. Dimke a few years ago for my Son and I for general dentistry. I've had bonding work on my front teeth a few times for some little spaces and it's always worked out well in the past. My teeth are white and I've always taken care good care of them. I also bleach my teeth. I know bonding doesn't last forever and wears down over time. I went to Dr.Dimke to replace them because it had been several years since the last time, I had chipped the front and they started to wear down. After the procedure I noticed the difference in color. The two places are on either side of the front teeth, so it's noticeable. When I said something to him about the difference, He said "You women look in the mirror too much". He said he used the whitest color he had. I've never had this problem before. I left your office feeling disappointed. I thought well, maybe it's "just me". What a demeaning comment. I then showed it to others and they could see the difference, too.
Now that I go to a different dentist, I had 4 fillings done at once (to replace the ones that had decay underneath) and the day after there was no pain at all! That's how it should be!
Worst root canal pain I've ever experienced performed by a dentist fresh out of school. When following up with a call about the pain I received a runaround! Come back Dr. Donnelli your practice is going down hill in a hurry!
