Not even good
I don’t do this often but if I can help someone else from going through the same experience I will.... I am extremely disappointed in the customer service from Quique’s Taqueria on Forest Hills in Loves Park. I have ordered from there numerous times and literally EVERY SINGLE TIME I have ordered my order has been wrong. A handful of times I didn’t realize my order was wrong until I had gotten all the way home. When I call the restaurant to tell them my order is wrong the owner does nothing to keep my business. All he does is offer to remake my meal and tell me to bring the wrong meal back. No discount, no refund, no discount on the next trip, no free deliver, no extra food, no free meal, NOTHING!!!! Tonight, was the last straw. I called and ordered chicken tacos and got steak tacos. Once again, I had gotten all the way home before I noticed my order was incorrect. As this was the probably at least the 8th time I’ve ordered and they have gotten it wrong. I called the restaurant and I asked to speak to the owner (who is always on site) and told him my order was once again wrong. He knows my face because every single time I order there we go through this. All he said was “I’m sorry if you bring the food back we will remake it.” But at this point that was not good enough for me. Something more needed to happen then just remaking my order when it should have been correct from the start. I requested that I get a refund due to the numerous inconveniences. The owner said “I can’t do that. If you’re going to bring the food back and get your order remade, you are still getting your order. If you bring the food back and don’t want your order then I can give a refund.” I said it doesn’t matter that I’m still getting my order. What matters is every time I order my order is wrong. Every time you inconvenience me by making me drive back (when they actually deliver). So I said you should be making my order right and driving it to me instead of making me go back when it wasn’t my mistake. But nope, the owner just said well I can give you your meal free next time. I’m extremely irritated because this is a local Mexican restaurant that I’m trying to bring business to yet they do nothing to keep my business. It’s a shame. I understand I’m just a number to them but if you’re going to run a business excellent customer service and satisfaction is a MUST! I understand people make mistakes but when it’s every single time I order my order is wrong that is beyond okay. Especially when the owner is always on site. Every time I order the person taking my order is always unsure about the menu and prices. The owner never sincerely apologizes. Every time I have to take my food back he doesn’t even say he’s sorry to my face. He doesn’t even speak to me. I shouldn’t have to request things that the owner should offer because of his poor business. They’ve been open for 3 years. There is no excuse. I may be just a number but from here on out my business will no longer receive my business.
Dry tacos try to charge you for every topping when any other Mexican and restaurant comes with it
You want good Mexican steak tacos or burritos don't go here. Steak meat is bland and does not taste very good. The texture is off taste like it was in a crock pot or been sitting out then reheated. Honestly taco bell would be a better option for food. I wish I spent my money else where.
Horrible customer service the Caucasian cashier sucks ass
only my second time, but very good food, both times. Daily specials, reasonably priced. Cozy and a couple slot machines
